Sticker Book Publishing Launches LEGENDS
Danbury, CT, January 5, 2021 – To kick off what we all hope is a much better year than 2020, ICONS LLC & Sticker Book Publishing are proud to announce the publication of LEGENDS, a hands-on sticker book activity about the most interesting and important people, places and events of the mid-20th century. LEGENDS is interesting, challenging and fun for everyone but is primarily designed to help our seniors with reminiscent therapy (reading clues and trying to remember who/what it refers to) and fine motor coordination (peeling and applying stickers) while boosting their emotional state by taking a fun trip down memory lane!
With Humphrey Bogart, Elvis Presley, Audrey Hepburn, The Apollo 11 mission, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Carson, Joe DiMaggio, Elizabeth Taylor, The Beatles, and many, many more, LEGENDS is certain to make the seniors in our lives smile and laugh for good reason, but it will also help them with:
- Sensory Stimulation – and the potential ability to help reduce the effects of cognitive decline;
- Occupational Therapy – through a peaceful, fun, hands-on activity that provides forever learning;
- Physical Stimulation – by practicing fine motor coordination skills;
- Reminiscent Therapy – by bringing back heartwarming memories of important people/things during their formative years;
- Memory Care – by providing those battling Alzheimer’s and dementia with an intellectually-stimulating activity to help memory recovery.
LEGENDS contains 16 pages of over 60 people/events across 9 categories (plus 6 pages of stickers) in a “Who Am I?” format, plus includes scannable links to online trivia, additional content and more. Fun and therapeutic, to be done individually or in a group setting, LEGENDS will provide hours & hours of an interesting, challenging, hands-on activity and help prove the timeless adage – you’re never too old to learn!
