Married a government official who became president of Argentina.
As First Lady, she fought for those living in poverty and for women’s suffrage.
She was also a great speaker with wide support, but she still had her critics.
The musical Evita, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice, was based on her life.
