Married to President Gerald Ford, as America’s First Lady she focused on women’s rights and helping others overcome life’s toughest challenges.

Having struggled with substance abuse herself, she admitted her problem and founded a Rehabilitation center for people dealing with addiction.

Presidential Medal of Honor recipient.
