Died: February 14, 269

Was a priest who refused to bow to and worship pagan gods.

While under arrest & imprisoned, the judge tested his faith, asking him to heal his blind daughter.

He immediately restored her sight by laying his hands over her eyes.  He then converted and baptised Judge Asterius & his entire family.

Condemned to death and martyred by Roman emperor Claudius II after boldly trying to convince the emperor to embrace Christianity.

Patron saint of love, lovers, engaged couples and happy marriages.
