Martyr who fought off her attacker but died the next day from her injuries but not until after saying that she forgave the young man and prayed he would turn to God.
Her attacker, Alessandro, was imprisoned and eventually he admitted his sin, repented and upon his release from jail, begged forgiveness from her mother.
He then became a religious brother living in a monastery.
Patron saint of youth, young women and purity and victims of violence.
