Patron saint of artists & physicians. Was a follower of Paul, ultimately to martyrdom, hanged on a tree.
Believed to be the only writer of the New Testament that wasn’t a Jew, he was most likely a Gentile.
Christian tradition states he was also an artist as he painted icons of Mary and Jesus.
