Wrote pamphlets about the true teachings of the Catholic Church to convince people to return to the Church, and wrote letters to many people to help guide their faith.
Taught that ordinary people, not just priests and nuns, could achieve holiness in their daily lives.
Said, “Have patience with all things, but, first of all with yourself.”
