Enigmatic and influential American rock band named after a book on psychedelia by author Aldous Huxley.

Led by singer, songwriter and poet frontman Jim Morrison, they recorded wildly successful songs such as “Hello, I Love You,” “Riders on the Storm,” “Break on Through” and “Light My Fire.”

1st American band with 8 consecutive gold LPs, and Rock Hall inductees in 1993.
