Considered the 1st true punk rock band, known for their pounding, 3-chord riffs, ripped jeans and black leather jackets.

The band members weren’t related but they all took the same surname, which was the pseudonym the Beatles’ Paul McCartney used when checking into hotels.

Head bangers include “Blitzkrieg Bop,” “Rockaway Beach” and “I Wanna Be Sedated.”

Essentially toured non-stop, playing over 2,200 shows over 22 years!
