Prolific composer of over 800 works, including the famous “Clarinet Concerto,” “The Marriage of Figaro” & “Serenade No. 13 in G Major.”

Versatile and innovative, he composed in every major genre (symphony, opera, concerto, chamber, piano sonata, etc).

His fascinating life has been the source of countless novels, plays, operas and films.
