The best-selling jazz album in history is his 1959 Kind Of Blue.

Among his many hits were “All Blues,” “So What,” “Venus de Milo” and “Seven Steps To Heaven.”

Received Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 1990 after 32 nominations and 8 Grammy Awards spanning 30 years.
