Born into a talented musical family during the Baroque period.

Named the greatest composer of all time (by other composers!), he also sang soprano and played the violin, organ and harpsichord.

Credited with popularizing the four-part harmony in his chamber music, conciertos and orchestral compositions.

Some of his well-known works include “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor,” “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and “Brandenburg Concertos.”
