Nicknamed “Ike,” this WWII general became the 34th President of the United States. 

As Supreme Commander, he led the Allied forces at D-Day, beginning the end of WWII.

Founded NASA, signed the 1957 Civil Rights Act and promoted peace with Russian during the growing tension of the Cold War.
