“King of the Blues” had many hits, including “Three O’Clock Blues” and “The Thrill Is Gone.”

He averaged 300 shows a year for 30 years, including in prisons!

His famed guitar was called “Lucille” and his favorite singer and influence was Frank Sinatra.
