Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were the astronauts on this historic space mission that first landed humans on the moon.

“The Eagle…landed” in the Sea of Tranquility and over 500 million people watched the televised first step onto the lunar surface.  

Successfully fulfilled the “space race” goal laid out by President Kennedy in 1961.

“That’s one small step for man, one giant step for mankind.”
