Laurie Hernandez

Born June 9, 2000, in NJ

An Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast as part of USA’s all-around team competition at the 2016 Olympic Games, she also won silver for her individual balance beam performance.

Was the youngest contestant to win on the TV show Dancing With The Stars.

A true role model for young people, she wrote the children’s book, I Got This: To Gold and Beyond.

Recognized as always being upbeat and smiling, she’s been called the Human Emoji!  🙂
