Renowned chef known for award-winning culinary innovations, he owns restaurants in NYC, LA, Miami and Chicago, among others.

Following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, started the World Central Kitchen (WCK) to provide hot meals when people are affected by natural disasters.

Organized thousands of workers after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and has also provided meals to those facing hardship during government shutdowns.

James Beard Award recipient recognizing him as both an Outstanding Chef & Humanitarian of the Year.

Nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for his work.
