Fashion designer, trendsetter and inspiration for Latina (and frankly all!) women, she’s known for picking and styling dresses for First Ladies, including both Laura Bush & Michele Obama. 

Famous for her contributions to both mens and womens fashion, she designed the wedding dress for the Twilight series that Bella Swan wore. 

Awarded a Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award for her fashion achievements and personal style. 

Despite the lack of any formal training, she launched her own fragrance collection and even graced the Vogue cover 7 times.
