Broadcaster, news anchor and White House correspondent who won the Edward R. Murrow Award for his exceptional coverage of the 9/11 attacks.

A long-time CNN reporter, he has hosted The Situation Room since 2005.

Previously a Washington D.C. correspondent for the English-language Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post, where he covered the American political landscape and the Middle East.
