As a philanthropist, he’s directed upwards of $14 billion to environmental causes, education initiatives, public health and the arts.

Once an Eagle Scout, he was also the first recipient of the Genesis Prize, aka the Jewish Nobel Prize, which honors living Jewish individuals who have attained international renown.
