American comedian, actor, writer, and singer who performed in film, television, radio, stage, and vaudeville, often alongside his brothers Chico, Harpo and Zeppo.

Most popular films included Monkey Business, Duck Soup, A Night at the Opera and Horse Feathers. 

Masterfully quick witted, he went on to host the game show You Bet Your Life.

In 1977, he and his brothers were inducted into the Motion Picture Hall of Fame.
