An immensely successful female singer-songwriter for 50+ years, she burst onto the scene at just 17 with her hit, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?”

Wrote or co-wrote an amazing 118 hits that made the Billboard Hot 100 as part of a song-writing duo with husband Gerry Goffin.

With over 75 million records sold, her biggest hits included “You’ve Got a Friend” (which James Taylor made it a #1 hit in 1971) and “You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman).”

Attributes her love of music from her grandmother, who survived the pogroms in Russia.

Her album “Tapestry” won the 1972 Album of the Year Grammy.
