American brothers and aviation pioneers, credited with inventing & flying world’s first successful plane.
Opened bike repair & sales shop, giving them opportunity to work on gears & mechanics.
Made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft on December 17, 1903, near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
Neil Armstrong carried part of their original “1903 Flyer” to moon.
