An American animation pioneer, entrepreneur & movie producer. Developed character Mickey Mouse in 1928, his first of many successes.
His sound & color improvements led to feature-length cartoons like Snow White, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Dumbo & Bambi, then live-action films after WWII, like Cinderella & Mary Poppins.
Expanded into amusement park industry, opening Disneyland in 1955.
Company he co-founded with brother Roy is one of world’s largest & most famous entertainment companies in the world.
