English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, inventor & teacher, and widely seen as one of the most influential scientists of all time.
Changed the world’s perspective with discovery of gravity and his teachings of it… seeing an apple fall from a tree inspired him to formulate his theory of universal gravitation.
Key figure in the scientific revolution, he advanced 3 famous laws of motion.
Published works about light; also invented the reflecting telescope.
Knighted in 1704, becoming “Sir”. Was secretly an Alchemist (the ability to turn base metal into gold).
