Philosopher, economist, sociologist, journalist, & revolutionary socialist.

Was Doctor of Philosophy with a PhD.   His most well-known work was 1848 pamphlet ‘The Communist Manifesto’ co-authored with Friederich Engles.

His theories about society, economics & politics explained how societies develop through class struggle.

One of the most influential figures in history, was both praised & criticized.

Lived in poverty most of adult life.

Passion for art but excelled at poetry.  A playful, loving & devoted father of 6 children with nicknames for each.

Said: “The production of too many useful things results in too many useless people.”
