Was unmatched in military prowess, extending Rome’s territory to the English Channel & the Rhine, the first Roman General to cross both.
Politician who became dictator of Rome, ruling by force, a political style that would be called ‘Caesarism’.
Grew Roman Empire all over Europe & the middle east; he even waged civil war on his own people. Also considered one of the best orators & prose writers in Latin.
Had a relationship was with Cleopatra. Assassinated by group of rebellious senators led by friend Marcus Brutus, on the Ides of March.
