Given a life-like chimpanzee stuffed animal named Jubilee by her father starting her early love of animals.

Traveled Africa, to visit a friend in Kenya, then later sent her to Tanzania to observe chimpanzees.

Made 2 revolutionary observations about chimps – they used tools (like humans) & they weren’t vegetarian.

She’s a global leader in effort to protect chimps & their habitats.

Awarded Kyoto, Hubbard & Tyler Awards for her achievements.
