An advertising pioneer, established a “well-oiled” publicity machine making his company known nationwide.
Established $5/day wage which was double the average wage at time.
Fought unions using former boxer to physically stop any & all union activity.
Early supporter of INDY 500 but hated car racing – though realized it was a great way to promote his cars & his company.
