Chinese teacher, editor, politician, judge & philosopher, his philosophy focused on personal & government’s morality, social relationships & justice.
Believed leaders should be role models of good behavior like honesty, sincerity and kindness.
Believed & taught strong family values of loyalty & respect for elders. 
His family tree, the Kongs, is the longest known in the world, now in its 83rd generation; it’s estimated there are 3 million descendants.
Was 1st to express the well-known principle known as the Golden Rule: “Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself.”
