David Plaue

Chief Inspiration Officer

David is the Chief Inspiration Officer of Sticker Book Publishing and its parent company ICONS, LLC. 

David is a serial entrepreneur and his fascination with his children’s normally model behavior led him to start ICONS, LLC, after witnessing their interest, enthusiasm, and frustration(!) in completing a soccer sticker book.  Despite how much fun they were having, he realized there were a few “issues” with the sticker book and set out to create a version that was equal parts educational, inspirational, and challenging (yet fun to complete!)  The initial edition was comprised of important and influential people from world history where children could “Build Their Own History Book”, be inspired, and achieve success all at the same time.

David holds a BS in Public Relations from Syracuse University and in his limited free time, enjoys playing and coaching basketball, traveling, eating, and eating while traveling.   He is also active in several youth groups, fundraising, and raising awareness for world water issues, and is trying to make his own difference in the world, one child and/or well at a time.
