Talented playwright and screenwriter whose works primarily focused on the struggles of the “common man.” 

His famous plays include All My Sons, The Crucible and Death of a Salesman, which was based on his childhood experience of almost losing everything after the famous 1929 stock market crash.

Received many awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Gold Medal for Drama, and 2 Tony Awards for Best Play.

His screenplay for The Misfits starred Clark Gable and the woman for whom he wrote it, his wife Marilyn Monroe!
