Economist who served as Chairman of Federal Reserve and the Board of Governors for 20 years, where he was known for stable inflation and steady growth.

Studied music at The Juilliard School before attending NYU and Columbia University.

At only 5 years old, he could recite baseball batting averages and could do incredible calculations in his head.

Author of many books, including The Age of Turbulence and Capitalism in America.
